Plans for Passive Income through Online Segment
Hi Everyone
The year 2020 has made us learn many things one of these is that we should not be dependent on a single income because you never know when it will stop. I hope that most of you would agree with me that we are not at all expecting covid effect in our life but it happened and we got affected with our income and earnings.
During the lockdown period, there was a significant increase in the number of people who started looking for online income. It's because our jobs were affected badly and the majority of people were locked up at home and many of us had to either lose our job or have to go through the salary cuts. Since I work as a freelancer so I also became jobless within days and that continued for about 6 months. There was no work for me for a period of 6 months and at that time I tried to spend more on this social network.
I am here for almost 2 years but the majority of my earning is achieved during the period of lockdown. I own 6375 steem power as of today 31 Jan 2021 but prior to lockdown in March last year I did not even have 2k HP.
My goal is to reach the 10k HP mark soon and I am spending more time here and this is also helping me to make my account more valuable. Working on Steem is not just about earning tokens but also an opportunity to explore content and improve my blogging skills. I never crated the content and even spent 10 years on Facebook for doing nothing productive but here in less than 2 years, my account value is more than 1000 USD which gives me enough motivation to work even more.
Now since things are much better even with covid so I started working for my regular work but I also take out some time for this platform because here I am building something for the long term. It's like a second income source for me and I sense I am able to earn enough money for my expenses so earning from here I am accumulating. I even started trading for some coins and have an account in the exchange.
Overall I can say that along with my regular work which is the main source of my income, I am also exploring other options for income generation. I know that this platform is quite vast and even crypto is quite a big space so I am trying to learn more and increase my digital money holding. I have been going through few new things like DeFi, coin staking, etc, and trying to build a portfolio that can generate a passive income for me in long run. I will share in detail it in another post soon.

You've got a great plan, the online segment is a good place to explore opportunities and with the emergence of covid-19 making a lot of people work from home so they get more time to look for other means of passive income.

Hello friend, hey I think you have a great account, the truth is that I have not been able to grow it much yet but I'm working on it. I am very happy for you. I think this pandemic despite all the bad things brought us favorable things, it taught us that through social networks we can also generate good income.
