Warner company case

Currently the CEO of Warner is the same CEO of Discovery, the same company that owns Discovery Chanel and everything in the name of Discovery, so the CEO named David Zaslav made an unprecedented decision in the history of Hollywood.
He decided to delete a movie that had cost 100 million dollars and based his decision alleging that the movie was so bad that if they released it they would spend 30 million dollars more in operating costs and would not recover that money, he prefers to lose the 100 million and not lose more. This movie is bat girl of the Batman universe and DC films.
The first thing to understand is that Warner used to be just a movie production company and was doing very well, one day it receives an offer to buy the telecommunications giant AT&T, this opportunity to become a movie production giant is accepted and AT&T spends 90 billion dollars in the operation. This happened more than 10 years ago.
In 2021 At & T decides to sell Warner for 40 billion dollars which represents a 50% loss but they need the money and Warner does not give the profits they expected, so the CEO of Discovery appears and buys Warner.
Warner produces movies and lately has not had any success, experts say that of the 40 billion that Discovery paid, at this time Warner is worth half or about 20 billion.
I find it incredible that a company with such important intellectual properties is making bad and boring movies which has brought economic losses so Zaslav decided to take drastic measures and cancel all releases this year and between now and the end of the year they will only release the DC films Black Adam starring Dwayne Johnson.
About this measure, the directors of Bat Girl complain that Zaslav has an annual salary of 250 million dollars while they were deprived of the opportunity to show their film for saving 30 million dollars.
Warner's movies lately have been box office failures because they are bad and boring and Zaslav knows it so he intends to change Warner with new policies and I hope that the big beneficiaries will be the moviegoers.

It is impressive the amount of money that moves in that company, and any failed project is a millionaire loss, literally.
I had no idea this was going on. But I do know that those.companies recover.
An annual salary of 250million is not bad at all actually ha ha ha.
