Tips for advertising on facebook
A few months ago I received a visit from my best friend in the world, he emigrated to Mexico about 4 years ago and he came to Venezuela a few months ago to resolve some issues, so we took the opportunity to catch up, he explain to me how he captured clients on Facebook and he made quite of money from that. So I decided to pay for an advertisement on Facebook.
My advertising did not give the results that I expected, so I did some research, I saw a lot of videos and marketing tips on social networks, let's apply and I can tell you that at least I already got my first client, that's why I want to share these tips.
Tips for advertising on Facebook
- The frequency: In my experience it is not good to pay for advertising constantly every day, all week, all month. It is better to do it for 3 days and rest for another 3 days, you can make your own cycle and experiment, paying for an advertisement every day is something expensive that only big companies do, most entrepreneurs pay for advertising in cycles, they allege that if you pay for advertising every day you take the risk of the advertising reaching the same people or overexposing your target audience.
- Not surrender: when you start a campaign the Facebook algorithm enters a learning phase, so your ad does not perform as you expected at the beginning, most analysts agree that Facebook ads start to get results after 48 hours , which is already enough time and money spent, that is why many people are tempted to change the ad settings constantly, I recommend don’t do that , have patient and wait for results.
- Use the automated rules of Facebook: it is very helpful to automate the ad you can put it at the time you want, you can put it on the days you want, you can include spending limits and most importantly you are looking for the specific audience as only people who in personal relationships have married status.
- Exclude clients who have already seen the advertising: you have that option in the configuration, depending on your business if you do not want the advertising to reach the clients you already have, if you feel that you are spending there unnecessarily, you can exclude your clients previous.
- Experiment: you should be encouraged to try different ads, don't always use the same one, I try to reuse an ad a couple of times and then change it completely, I try to test new ads.
Applying these tips has helped me a little, my campaigns are $ 3 for 3 days, what I invest is one dollar a day every time I campaign, this started to pay off. This is the beginning. I just put ads and waited for results. I didn't run it in cycles.
Now I know that some basic knowledge about "how to run ads" is necessary.
