I constantly forget command lines even if I have used the same application yesterday or even earlier in the same day...
I keep text file of common command line parameter combinations and then just adjust them if I need to do something that I have not yet added to the text file...
Keeping common command lines stored in text file is very useful with for example wget and JSON-based servers, including RPC server of a lot of cryptocurrencies.
