Getting the Right Employees for your Business.

A similar issue faced by most business owners is finding the appropriate employees for their business, people seek job positions for various reasons, the first thing you have to understand as an employer, is the various reasons why people look for job opportunities:

To get a means of income.
To get a level of respect.
Some people want to feel responsible for carrying out task.
Very few people want to contribute to their communities through their jobs.

If you desire growth as an entrepreneur, it is important to understand that you cannot grow your business on your own, a good and efficient team member is required and this include your employees and that is one reason why you should never hire for the wrong reason. I have made some mistakes in handling my little business and one of those mistakes is hiring some wrong people for my business, let me tell you a quick story.

I am an emotional person and sometimes I allow my emotions take over me while handling business matters (which is very wrong), there was a time I needed someone to hire and admits the various application letters I had on my desk and the little interview I did, one particular lady caught my attention, she had a scar on her face and because of this so many people did not want to hire her, I felt I should be able to help her gain self-confidence irrespective of her look so I hired her and I that was a very terrible mistake I made because she proved she was not worth it after all, the one month she spent with me was when I recorded the worst downtime and slow sales ever. I wanted to learn about how I could employ right people for my business and I came across a post by DanLok which I am going to share with you shortly.

According to Danlok, there are three categories of employees.

The first category of employees are those he regarded as the grunt, the grunt are employees who just want to go about their specified duty and get enough money to pay bills, they never do anything out of the ordinary, they also do not like to stress themselves or overwork their pretty head so they just perform duties good enough to keep them at a job and nothing more.

The second category of employees are the mercenaries, these set of employees are basically just about the money and nothing else, from the interview desk they begin to ask you about how much you are able to offer and how much more you are able to pay if they can offer more extra services, immediately they get another job that offers a little extra cash they jump at it.

The third category of employees are patriot, these set of people want to make good money but there are more driven by a target and meeting a required goal, these set of people want to be a part of something good and that is what drives them. Patriots always have a way of contributing to make their work place better.

These three categories of workers have their own impact in a business but having the large collection of your employees as patriots will bring growth to your business and you will feel relaxed to lead them. Ensure you stay safe and thank you for reading my blog, I am @oluwatobiloba.

That's true because manpower the most important resource of any organization and you must chose it very carefully because same kind of organization have same mechanical power but not the same man power it's different and we must chose if very carefully to get the work done in a proper manner.

The role of man power is absolutely different from the role of mechanical power, getting the right workers will help us feel the impact of a good worker, thanks for stopping by.
