Technology (from the Greek τέχνη [téchnē], 'art', 'trade' and -λογία [-logy], 'treatise', 'study') is the application of science to the resolution of concrete problems. This introduction is to highlight the incorrectness of saying "I don't know anything about technology" or "I don't want anything with technology"; because we are all in one way or another immersed in technology and enjoy or suffer from many of its applications.
Let's see, from the door of your house inwards, how much we find of technological applications of various kinds:
1.Do you have a security door that protects access to your home? Surely. In my house, yes, there is. It was already installed when I moved in, but ... we must know that in addition to its effectiveness, its useful life and appearance are also important; Well, none of us would want an ugly door to enter their house.
Excellent!! Right from the front door, we started talking about technological applications. The manufacturing techniques for this type of door are technological applications, in terms of their designs, materials and longevity.
2.Do you have a fridge, washing machine and dishwasher? These artifacts, which are usually in almost all houses, are very clear examples of technological applications, which over time have been gaining in improvements and new technologies, to provide ordinary citizens with a better quality of life.
And many of us do not know how to live without these so-called "white line" equipment, considered a necessity in today's homes. So we do want a lot of technology and we do know of many applications that reach our homes as common use equipment.
3.And of course, you have electricity, that wonderful energy that allows you to enjoy your appliances, electronic equipment, intercommunication and communicate remotely. I hope that you have already changed the use of your words and affirm "Yes, I like the comforts that technological advances produce and I do know and live with many of them"
Technology will always be present in our lives, from the moment we are writing on this platform it is the best example of it.We use technologically constructed artifacts to enable us to post and communicate.
Little by little we are breaking the paradigm of fear of technology and cryptocurrencies.And our job should be to educate and demonstrate how these alternatives can be used to give us a better quality of life.
