Hello everyone, hope you all are doing good? This is the beginning of an exciting series, which promises to be informative and also educative, do well to follow all the parts, as you will definitely gain 1 or 2 useful information from the series. In today's article we would be looking what Blockchain CryptoGraphy means.

To fully comprehend the meaning of Blockchain Cryptography, we need to know what blockchain means and what cryptography means.

Blockchain is a technology that helps to store and secure data. Once data are stored they are immutable i.e it is almost impossible to alter data.

Cryptography is a technology that enables top security in communication between two parties. What this simply means, is that, communication between two parties are secured and no third party can be able to intercept the message or data that is been communicated by the two parties.

Blockchain Cryptography is the technology that enables data within the blockchain to safe and secured i.e data within the blockchain cannot be altered and decrypted by a third party. Blockchain cryptography is the security of blockchain technology.

When a user wants to make use of blockchain cryptography, that is, send a message securely. The user encrypts the message/data and sends to the receiver. The message can't be comprehended as it is encrypted, hence, message sent is safe and secured from third party. Only the receiver will be able to decrypt the message or data by using Private Keys. There are other instances, where you need to Sign a transaction before it can be broadcasted to the network and you can only use your Private Keys to do that, which ensures top security from the blockchain.

Hello @menoski

Blockchain CryptoGraphy, good topic is you choose to share in the community, the element of major significance is the immutability of the blockchain, therefore, there can be no change in the information contained in a block stored within the platforms, and in my view this is the key point that will make in a few years will generate a massive adoption within the blockchain.

Best regards, be well.

I think it is excellent @menoski that you develop these types of topics that are always good to know, we must have a clear knowledge of the environment in which we do not develop to be truly successful.

Greetings!

Thanks for your post. I'm a newcomer to the blockchain technology and this info is basic for anyone who wants to get started.

Of course, it holds the basics on any system that relies on cryptography.

Thanks.
