Head Movement

You can read someone's body language through their head movement. Whenever you talking to someone, the speed at which the person nods his/her tells you a message of how they are feeling. If you are talking with someone and the person is nodding his/her head slowly, that indicates that the person is into what you are saying and wants to hear more from you. But if the person is nodding his/her quite fast, that indicates that the person wants to be given a chance to talk or is bored or have heard enough. It just says that you should keep quiet and let the person talk so you don't continue to act foolish. Because it can be stupid when you are talking to someone that doesn't want to listen to you but don't know how to say it to your face. But when you keep quiet, the person will value you more and maybe will want to talk to you. As businessman you need this, because when you are talking to clients, it is good to know if you should continue talking or stop talking. Because some people like people who can talk, they feel happy around such people. Whereas some people don't like much talks. With this new trick, you should be able to what to do whenever you talking to someone. Always notice the head movement, it says things that the person you talking to, don't even know, that he/she is communicating such, hence, an added advantage for you.

Eye Contact

You can also read someone's body language through eye contact. We all know that maintaining steady eye contact during conversation indicates confidence. As a businessman you would want to show confidence whenever you are meeting your clients, and what better way to do that, if not by maintaining steady eye contact. If a person is unable to maintain steady eye contact, it means two things. Either the person lacks confidence or the person is lying to you. If you already know that person has lots of confidence but doesn't want to maintain eye contact, that indicates that person is about to lie to you. I heard of a company owner who must have a face to face conversation with every one that will gain employment to his company. He looks at them and ask them some personal questions and at the end, he would know if the person is right to work in his company or not. All candidates are exceptional, but sometimes, you need to read a person not by what they say but by their body language. He was asked why he always must have a face to face conversation before he could be able to employ anybody. He said, characters matters a lot, not just academical brilliance and he can see it in everyone's eyes. So far, the company has not employed a misfit. Eye contact is a very excellent way to read a person.
