The problem is that Stephen Thaler, the creator of DABUS, does not intend to register the patents for these two inventions in his name, but in the name of artificial intelligence, which seems to be causing enormous problems in the courts, which will have to decide whether a patent supposedly created by artificial intelligence can be registered.

Thaler's arguments are that he simply designed the AI and trained it with enormous amounts of data, but that he lacks the knowledge necessary to develop the alarm lights or fractal vessel designed by DABUS, therefore Thaler considers that the author of the inventions and therefore the owner of the patents must be artificial intelligence.

What I don't like so much is that Thaler says that his AI model is sensitive and wants us to be aware that it is a new "species" and that, beyond a good script for an episode of Black Mirror, given the level of stupidity of the average human being that populates the media dumps of the West, it will end badly.
Lo que ya no me gusta tanto es que Thaler dice que su modelo de IA es sensible y quiere que nos hagamos conscientes de que se trata de una nueva "especie" y eso, más allá de un buen guión para un episodio de Black Mirror, dado el nivel de estupidez del ser humano medio que puebla los vertederos mediáticos de occidente, acabará mal.
