Myths about ASD Part III

Fuente

We close this trilogy of what are the myths about Autism (ASD), and I want to clarify that not all people, whether children or adults with autism have the same characteristics and if they have them then in a different degree to another, I have always clarified that autism does not have a certain pattern in people that is why its name AUTISTIC SPECTRE.

Autism is caused by vaccines
This study showed that there is no diagnosis where it is proven that vaccines cause autism, but if the metal that exists in some of them could at some point drive a development, it is a somewhat lurid issue, but it is still under study.

The causes of autism are strictly genetic.
Well no, we have already talked about this that there is no proof that this is the cause of the disorder, but it is the only one that is proven to be the cause of "some" cases, since relatives of the child have been evaluated and have been diagnosed as a large number of them and have been able to detect that if there is a genetic load in some cases.

It is true that autistic people do not tell lies
Well if they say, high-functioning people like anyone else learn to lie and also all learn to manipulate which is a form of lying, but this is said because they are people who do not usually have filters when expressing what they feel or what they see, especially when something makes them uncomfortable or want to comment, they do not usually disguise it, they say it just as their brain generates it.

For this reason they tend to fall badly or be rejected by this lack of tact in saying things. Just as when understanding them by the literalness of them, when asking them for something or expressing something you want we must be careful and say it as clearly as possible so they can understand what we meant, no metaphors or sentences in comparison, as simple as possible and direct.

There are many more things we could talk about, but these are perhaps the most important and common ones, always remembering that no two people with ASD are the same, each one has different characteristics.

Thank you again for sharing your knowledge on this very interesting subject, and helping us to understand a little more with each other.
thank you for your contributions

hello @mariu.espinoza,
it is quite interesting the way people with this disease communicate, personally I like that they can say what they think at the moment they think it in such a lying and exaggerated society, their way of communication is a real blessing that we have to learn from.

Greetings @mariu.espinoza, I consider it fundamental to establish in a timely manner that autism is a genetic disorder, since there is no evidence that it is produced by external effects, hence the importance of your writing and your excellent contribution. We will continue reading

Greetings, there is not a cause that can be said to be the one that generates autism, there are many edges and aspects, genetics is the only one that can be proven, but there are also cases that do not exist in the direct family and in the indirect family cases of autism, there is still much to investigate, but I advance you that the immunological and gastrointestinal part is taking basntante advanced studies in this and soon we will have news.
thanks for reading, my pleasure

Hello, @mariu.espinoza We all should have a dose of the autistic spectrum especially in that of not lying, not having filters, maybe we would have one or another inconvenience but the world would be different, more reliable, more diaphanous and clear, good post.

my dear @aplausos is true maybe the world would be a little more transparent and more sincere, a huge kiss, thanks for stopping by here
