TRADITIONS OF THE HOLIDAYS AS THE NEW YEAR APPROACHES

Saludos y bienvenido estimados lectores de esta prestigiosa plataforma, el tema que nos compete en esta oportunidad es algo diferente a lo acostumbrado y trata de las diferentes tradiciones que se suelen seguir para la llegada del nuevo año, debemos estar conscientes que cada cultura es diferente y cada una tiene sus tradiciones, de allí que me enfocare en la cultura Latinoamericana por formar parte de esta.
Para nadie es un secreto que diciembre abre la puerta al espíritu de la navidad, el nacimiento de Jesús, las hallacas, la unión familiar y las celebraciones, forma parte de todo un mes cargado de alegría, pero más allá de esta celebraciones, el día 31 del mes más alegre del año, nos reta e impulsa al uso de cábalas que nos permita atraer el aura positiva del año siguiente.
Debido a que la llegada del nuevo año, es sinónimo de cambio y restauración de lo viejo por lo nuevo y es aquí donde los deseos empiezan a fluir desde lo más profundo de nuestro ser, de modo que la llegada de la nochebuena está llena de rituales es busca de la prosperidad, entre estos destacan:

1. Usar prendas íntimas de color rojo, esa tradición está destinada al empoderamiento del amor, la pasión y la prosperidad, de allí que se asume que el uso de ropa interior roja es sinónimo de buena suerte a lo largo de todo el año.
2. Planificar nuestro curso del nuevo año, marcando metas claras y buenos deseos, este punto consiste en planificar los días venideros del nuevo año e ir cumpliendo cada una de las metas propuestas, de igual forma podemos enlistar las cosas negativas que deseamos dejar atrás y mejorar en esos aspectos.
3. Realizar un brindis en la nochebuena con champán acompañada de una prenda de oro es sinónimo de riqueza, de allí que esta tradición está destinada aumentar la productividad familiar, por lo cual se hace imperante llevar dinero en el bolsillo al momento de realizar el brindis.
4. Comer lentejas en nochebuena, este es otra tradición que se ha tras culturizado, como tal es una tradición Italiana que se aplica en Latinoamérica, se asume que las lentejas es sinónimo de riqueza, por lo cual una vez escuchadas las campanadas e debe consumir este plato

Certainly every culture has its own traditions. Your post makes me remember Christmas when I was a little girl and the whole family would get together and each one would do a different ritual and the union, laughter and happiness would prevail. The important thing is to believe that what we propose we can achieve and we will see it come true. Thank you for sharing!

we usually receive them as a family, we count them before the end of the year and when they announce that the year is over all the people give each other a big hug. we also wish all the neighbors a prosperous new year, these are traditions that are always present in the life of all Venezuelans.
Wow , seriously I don't know about this in detail as different cultures have different ways to celebrate holiday.
I love to celebrate our holiday with my family and friends as they are close to me and I love to make them happy that is my point of view.
Hello friend @madridbg, really every culture has its traditions and rituals, I remember laughing a lot with an aunt that when she heard the chimes she went out to look for a suitcase, according to that would attract a trip, and well, between food, clothing and fireworks there is a lot of variety of these rituals of the end of the year.
Hello friend @madridbg, I make many customs at the end of the year, it has already become a family tradition, for all the people in our home, and I know that many families in Venezuela and around the world have this kind of Christmas custom.
The traditions here in Venezuela are very varied for when the new year is approaching, however the most colorful is to burn the old year. Greetings my friend and thank you for your valuable contribution.
