Binance has reinstated the ability to purchase cryptocurrencies with Visa and Mastercard

As we see Bitcoin's price action retreat to the $69,000 area, news emerges that in some ways sets a favorable tone for the entire market considering that Binance has resumed allowing cryptocurrency purchases with Visa and Mastercard.

In information shared by Zoltan Vardai, “Binance has resumed cryptocurrency purchases via wire transfers using Visa, Mastercard and SEPA transfers for ‘seamless transactions,’ according to a June 6 X post.”

It has been clarified that, “the ‘cryptocurrency purchase’ options via Visa and Mastercard have been re-enabled, with a maximum one-time purchase of up to 5,000 euros, worth approximately USD 5,440 for euro-based transactions, and up to USD 20,000 for US dollar-based purchases”

We should recall that, “Binance shut down Visa debit card services in the European Economic Area (EEA) on December 20. The Binance Visa debit card converts cryptocurrencies in users' Binance accounts into local currencies, allowing them to use cryptocurrencies to pay for purchases in stores and online."

The necessary question is whether Binance's regulatory problems are over, in this regard “Re-allowing cryptocurrency purchases with Mastercard and Visa could be another sign that Binance's regulatory problems are coming to an end, following its settlement in the U.S.”
