Project Hope Competition #3 - Post Submission
Consider a small tribe living on an isolated island and have no contact with the outside world. With time, the families will grow and more members would be added to the group. In that case, either they have to go outside the island to look for more resources or they have to make some arrangments on the island to fulfil the needs of everyone.

Either they build a boat that can take them to far off place to look for more resources or they have to think of ways to increase production on the island. Both the available options need them to innovate.

And this can only be possible when they would be applying scientific knowledge to develop technological methods. This is not just a one-time thing, as more population grows, more technological innovations would be required. And the infinite chain continues. Without technological innovation, it would not be possible to sustain the growing population.
Hence, Technology made large populations possible! ( first half of the phrase)
Though the above example only talks about how technological innovation was required to accomplish the most basic amenity i.e. food. But this does not limit here.
Apart from the basic amenities, people do involve themselves in other activities too and constantly find ways to do things in a better ways, which in turns resulted in many more innovations. A better way of doing a task must always be welcomed.

Today, we have one of the finest technology, which has indeed made our life better. And we need it in every sphere of life. People are not dependent on technology rather they are dependent on better ways of doing things.
We have made many technological innovations to be where we stand today and we must appreciate it. There are many who still wishes to have such technologies.
We wouldn't have been possible without the technology, since our birth to this date, or while reading this article we have been using technology. If this large population somewhere survived due to the technology, how can we not be grateful to it? It is indispensable for us.

Brilliant entry. One thing I noticed is that technology cause large population in some way and the large population favour technology innovation in another way also creating the balance in it
