Venezuela and the Geopolitical Game: How Global Alliances Affect the Future in general?

in Project HOPElast month

Hello friends of Project HOPE, I hope you are all well. I come today to talk about some things that are happening at a global and regional level, and that without a doubt are affecting a lot, and that could be worse.

As everyone knows, in Venezuela there recently were "presidential elections", and in these there was a very obvious fraud, in which the opposition won but given that it is an authoritarian government, it simply did not accept that it lost and wants to stay in office. power, it's that simple. And by means of weapons, they have done everything to attack the people and prevent them from speaking out against what happened. But it is not to tell you this story that I make this post but to put it in context.

There is a geopolitical reality, and in Venezuela it is well expressed. It is evident that Venezuela's relations with Russia are close, they have sold them weapons and military support, and it has strong support from the point of view of military advice, it is well known that in the Venezuelan armed forces there are many Russians advising, and giving orders, something quite embarrassing, but it is reality.

And not to mention China, who has also made large investments in Venezuela, buying land that is rich in resources, in exchange for military support as well. And not to mention Cuba, which is the one that gives all the support in terms of establishing and maintaining the regime in the country, and not only that, but also supporting it with soldiers, with its terrorists, who are the ones who keep the Cuban people under control. absolutely by means of weapons, and they have been in Venezuela for a long time.

This is not just politics, there is an important game of geopolitics here, and I cannot fail to mention Iran, obviously, since we know that those three countries, Russia, China, Iran, are promoting what has become known as BRICS, which according to They are looking for a ,multipolar world, however, this implies the establishment of totalitarian authoritarian regimes, where only a few become rich and the majority of the population remains poor.

It seems that this does not concern us, because we live outside of these countries, however, it is something that affects us, because the world is intimately connected, and if that comes to fruition, the expansionist plans of these countries will become a reality and Totalitarianism will be present in more countries, giving rise to an increasingly strong escalation of poverty, it is a sad reality that is ongoing. Is it just me that see it that way or do you have another point of view? I would like to know.

I think one of the disadvantages thing is that we should not believe in politics
