New taxes in Colombia Global

The countries are indebted to the international organizations in charge of "supporting" them with credits so that, as they progress, they progress. But these loans come with high interest, which even consumes a large part of what enters the coffers of the countries, this is particularly happening in Colombia, and apparently, the government's measures are going wrong.
As is evident, governments generate income by selling what they have on their soil, what is produced on their land, as in the case of Venezuela and Colombia, is oil, gas, in Colombia something very important is Coal, because He is a great producer.
The big problem is that corruption in these Latin countries is impressive and states must always look for other income options, with the excuse that "the state coffers are running empty", and, logically, they take that money is from the increase in interest charges.
I haven't been to Europe, not yet, but I understand that in countries like Spain taxes are super high, for example.
Here in Colombia they have 19% VAT on almost everything you buy, but it was recently announced by the government that they are organizing a new Tax package that will affect the cost of Diesel, that is, practically everything.
The increase in any fuel has an impact on the cost of everything, but in the particular case of Diesel, which is used by heavy transport, its effect is usually much more noticeable.
So we just have to wait for another hit to the pocket. Have you heard that about the 20230 agenda?, well, the governments -it seems- are implementing it quite well, don't you think?
