Education in cryptology and Blockchain is necessary

in Project HOPE4 years ago

I've encountered some resistance from people when they're told about something related to cryptomontages. I find it a bit strange, but I understand it, the lack of knowledge makes people stay away, there is also a lack of information from centralized entities, which make it clear what blockchain and crypts are.

Let's be clear, most people are used to simpler platforms of dominas, much easier to publish and they get like and it makes them happy, even if they don't earn more than that, a few like in many of the nonsense things they could publish.

There is another point that I believe has had repercussions on a somewhat limiting vision and keeps many away from approaching what cryptomonies have to do with, for example:

  • The recent limitation and all the commotion about Libra, the crypto-currency of Facebook, that finally paralyzed it, and used what happened before with the use of user data for other purposes...

  • Another case, and no less important, was the recent case of the Telegram cryptomoney, which also had many pronouncements by some important institutions in the world's economy and finance.

  • The prohibition or limitation of uploading videos to Youtube related to Cryptomon currencies. Can in many cause a bad impression, because if they limit the content for something bad must be, they will assume some without going further.

I believe that these facts make many people, from total ignorance, see with bad eyes what the crypto world refers to, however, it can only say ignorance is free. Of course everyone has the right to decide what they invest their time in, whether it's something that won't generate more profit than a I like or to earn some dollars and good relations through a blockchain-based platform. To conclude I comment the following:

A few days ago someone who is in Italy asked me the favor of receiving money in my bank account from his bank to send it to his mother. For some bureaucratic reason he could not execute the transfer despite having the Iban and Swift code for it. I've been using Localbitcoin for these processes for a long time, but when I mentioned the option he was scared, he simply told me that he was against it... I'm sure you have no idea of the benefits you can get from using this, but, I don't waste time with people like that...

Just like him, others have told me that they do not conceive how they can win here nor much less how to convert it later to FIAT currency, trying to explain is usually difficult... but I continue, help those who allow themselves to be helped, if they do not want to, I can only continue with my thing...
There is a lack of education in Cryptocurrencies, blockchain, in a way I think there is a kind of campaign by totally centralized institutions with the intention that it does not gain more strength... This is purely a personal opinion...

@josevas217 crypto world is the future of financial freedom , we have to learn fast if we want to get rich.

You have to learn, of course, I agree @adityajainxds
Now, becoming a millionaire is something else, but it's also within the realm of possibility. Achieve financial freedom if it can come totally hand in hand with this.

Gracias @sacra97 por pasar.

Bitcoin, blockchain, everything - it is just a mess, and only for those with special interest or knowledge... at least that is what the masses believe. It might go mainstream later, but currently, few people understand it, and even fewer people know how to take advantage of it.

Yes, unfortunately, I have had experiences from some people to whom I tell about this platform and when I tell them that it is won with cryptomonies right away comes the question, and as I do for cambiarlo¨? then others... others... and they end up doing or not doing anything because this is for people who know about this...

Hello @josevas217, great topic.

I agree that there is a lack of education on these issues, I also think that those who most benefit from this technology should invest in the education of people, this will undoubtedly attract many more people to this medium.

Large exchanges, blockchain-based platforms, alongside the community ultimately must shoulder this responsibility.

Investing resources in this type of education will make the crypto world grow.

Hello friend @fucho80
That would be very good, that the big platforms invest in education. So that most people can see this as an option that could simplify their lives and not as something that makes their lives more complicated trying to understand it.

Surely if we simplify the processes for them we can help the quantity and quality of users to increase.

I think a lot of the negative connotation about cryptocurrencies are because in some small amount of countries, they are considered illegal and associated with criminal activities such as money laundering...

The people who are trying to replace national currencies with cryptocurrencies are actually trying to change that part of history, so cryptocurrencies can be used for legal money transfers.

In countries where cryptocurrencies are legal, they are taxed either similar to normal income from job, or as stocks, where you pay fixed tax for profit.

Yes, the thing there is that being its decentralized origin, in which the states have nothing to do with its creation, I don't see why one has to pay taxes to the state for an activity in which they have no participation.
And I understand that many times some controls are necessary, because of money laundering, for example...

Thank you for your comment @mtl1979

State and municipal taxes in current world don't make much sense anymore... Even if we pay taxes to support public services like healthcare, we still have to pay monthly fee to use hospitals and clinics. We even have to pay fees to defend ourselves in courts.

Last year I would have had to pay €0.15 in taxes because of all the deductions, but luckily there is minimum limit of €5.00.
