Mango rain
Among the main mango producing countries we have:
- India with 42% of world production
- China with 10% - Thailand 7%.
- Indonesia 5% Mexico
- Mexico 5%.
Among the exporting countries are: - Mexico 21%
- India 16%
-Thailand 15% - Peru 8%.
Venezuela has a huge variety of mangoes due to its climate and location, but for export only two are the most offered.
However, nowadays this kind of initiatives as others have been reduced and nowadays we can observe in many places the images of huge quantities of mangoes rotting in the middle of the streets in the dumps.
Our planet is full of badly distributed riches that are wasted in some places as in this case, while in others they lack the necessary to survive.
Hopefully someday the scales will make these situations change so that all of the people of this beautiful planet will benefit from what in other places is surplus, because the salvation of some is in what others have in their hands.

Well in the area where I live, many people feed on mangoes, these families practically live on mangoes, sometimes they do not even let them ripen and harvest them either to sell them or to simply eat them, I did not know the thousands of ways that mangoes are used for cooking, they even do it and it is as if you were eating meat, I say it with property because I have eaten it.
Certainly, for some time we have learned to do everything with mango, from sweet, ceviche, sweets of all kinds, mojito, and depending on the type of mango there is one that is green, when boiled it tastes like potato. Thank you for giving such a consistent opinion.
It is true, in Venezuela many fruits are wasted in season, so much so that it hurts having many people in need.
Well I guess this just proves the reality of life, nothing is balance while some more have so much that it gets to waste, others do not even have a glimpse of what it tastes like.
Well, I didn’t eat Venezuelan mango , yet . But I ate Philippines dried mango and I like it.
Dried mango with hot tea is also very nice .Actually , mango doesn’t grow up in my country and my neighbor coming from Philippines bought for me as a gift .
I haven't had tea with mango, it's new to me. Here we use the "tender" (young) leaves to cure ailments such as inflammations. I will look into that. I'm curious to know, what country are you from? Thanks for commenting and voting.
I am from Turkey.
Greetings @ hojaraskita, Very true, the mango season is already here and it is a fruit that we get in almost most of the houses that have some kind of land, Eating and drinking mango juice is very nutritious and healthy. A lot of fruit is lost because of the bad criteria we have of natural resources, and it is something contradictory because in many areas there are people who can not eat almost anything. I think that if there was a policy of national purchase of this fruit where the state transforms it and exports it, it would be very helpful for national income.
Thank you very much for your publication
Thank you for such a successful presentation of ideas. Very consistent.
