Ever since 2009, people have been adopting cryptocurrency due to its decentralized nature, its privacy advantage and secure functions. While so many accepts this technology and is being used as a means of transactions as well as being regarded as a means of investment and trading, so many others have laughed at it, government have cramped down on it and so many are starting to put regulations on it. In the midst of all this, cryptocurrency enthusiasts and believers like me believe that it is the currency of the future, even in the midst of mockery.
In recent times, companies, investors and billionaires grew lots of interest in cryptocurrency, thereby giving it traction. Companies such as Square, and recently Twitter has announced that they will be accepting payments in cryptocurrency and although a lot of us believe that Elon Musk has a hand this update or probably because they want to be innovative, but while we thought that's all, another company just announced that they will be accepting cryptocurrency.
Gucci and Cryptocurrency
When it comes to luxury fashion, Gucci is a brand to recon with. With the Tesla accepting cryptocurrency, there was a very big hope for crypto adoption and soon, a lot of corporations including Microsoft and StarBucks have been accepting cryptocurrency. Days ago, Gucci said it will be accepting cryptocurrency in some US states at the end of the month, and expect to allow all its store in north America accept cryptocurrency at the end of the summer. With Gucci adoption, soon, there will be more corporations accepting cryptocurrency.
There are possibilities of more regulations by government bodies and there are going to high tax for cryptocurrency enthusiasts and crypto business, but it is very good to know that cryprocurrency is getting accepted and when we get to that bridge, we will cross it.
I must admit that this is a very good news. We all knows Gucci to be a very big brand, since they are now accepting cryptocurrency we all knows that this will surely contribute to cryptocurrency positively. I love this news and I hopes more cool project and companies keeps accepting CRYPTOCURRENCY.

Hello @gbenga, this Gucci initiative is more important than you think, it is only a first big step, after this and its good results, many well-known brands and others not so well known will immediately begin to accept cryptocurrencies as forms of payment and this is the simplest and most direct way to introduce cryptoactives into the local economy.
Definitely @tocho2, with a big brand like that, other brands would follow suit.

Greetings @gbenga due to recent events is not surprising this news as cryptocurrencies point to a massification in its use and acceptance, so that companies must adapt to the new technological wave called cryptocurrencies and blockchain.

These firms are only looking for ways to incorporate new purchasing buyers and hence more customers, most of them don't really fancy cryptocurrency and blockchain technology
More about their profit is what they will definitely put first, but I also think that it offers some good to cryptocurrency users also.
