The Persian Gulf is very significant, both geo-strategically and Geo-politically. It is the most crucial of all water bodies—connected with eight countries. It is sharing its eastern border with Iran, western border with Qatar and Saudi Arabia, while Kuwait lies to its north and UAE to its south. All of these countries are rich in natural resources.
