Introduction
Agriculture plays a very important role in meeting the two main objectives set by the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations (FAO, 2015): to eliminate hunger and poverty in the world. Therefore, Agriculture must be an activity that conserves the soil and improves the conditions of those that have already been degraded, as well as the vegetation systems and thus generate more arable land to meet the needs of human beings.
In the agricultural environment, the main objective is to achieve high rates of yields per unit area worked, in order to meet the high demand for food, without being able to consider the sustainability of production by measuring the (technical feasibility, as well as its economic profitability and non-pollution).
The great successes achieved with this strategy have been very important, but it is considered as a very inefficient and very polluting agriculture, which has caused much loss of biodiversity, and for this reason has brought the decline of forest resources, soil erosion, climate change.
Emerging technologies must be oriented to maintain the sustainability of the systems through the conscious and rational exploitation of natural resources and to be able to apply very adequate measures to preserve the environment. One of the most important requirements is to be able to maintain the necessary soil fertility. Traditionally, the deficit of nutrients, especially N, can be corrected by introducing the addition of fertilizers; however, due to the high costs, it is difficult to use them.
The increase of awareness about the care of the environment and the evidence of the environmental deterioration caused by agrochemicals should be done so that agricultural producers see the application of organic fertilizers as a good alternative, since at present they are used more than all those synthetic fertilizers, which brings as a consequence an adverse environmental impact.
In Venezuela, strategies have been implemented in recent years for the incorporation and acceptance by producers of sustainable agriculture, which does not endanger the natural resources involved in the production processes (soil, water, plants) and allows the production of healthy and abundant agricultural products, but above all, suitable for human consumption and with a friendlier marketing chain.
In this sense, the Agricultural Animal Health Law of 2008 establishes that Agroecology is a science whose principles are based on ancestral knowledge of respect, conservation and preservation of all natural components of sustainable agroecosystems.
At present, agricultural production is mainly based on conventional agriculture (agrochemicals), where a large amount of synthetic products are used, which in the eyes of the producer increase the productivity of their crops significantly in the first years, however, it is known that such production is not sustainable over time, due to various factors that are altered by the incorporation and abuse of these products; The soil microorganisms are destroyed, causing deterioration and leaving them sterile, contaminating the groundwater and weakening the morpho-botanical development of the plants, due to the high toxicity of the products.
Likewise, it has been proven that the application of organic fertilizers and biofertilizers act as growth biostimulants; they promote and benefit plant nutrition, acting at the same time as biological control agents, reducing undesirable microorganisms in the soil and favoring useful organisms for crops, thus increasing plant production and reducing agro-ecosystem degradation and reducing the loss of soil nutrients through leaching, especially nitrogen.
Conclusion:
In conclusion, it is essential that agriculture be an activity that can be carried out for many years, in a sustainable manner, that is, that does not deplete the natural resources on which it depends, that generates good yields and income for producers and thus obtain social and economic benefits, that produces quality food and that does not have negative effects on the environment.

Hello @dgalan!
The agricultural sector is one of the most important, however, they are not given the priority they deserve and in search of generating profits despite the circumstances often do not see the damage done to the environment, this you show us is a way to develop for the benefit of the environment and the quality of products. Thanks for sharing, greetings!
Greetings @yusvelasquez. I share your opinion the Agricultural sector, is very important for the whole world, however prevails the industrialized processes, by the economic powers that do not believe in them, and much less in crops with organic fertilizer, as they are a little slower for harvesting and that brings them losses, despite them these crops are healthier and do not damage the soil.
Thank you very much for your comments
In fact, agriculture will always be a great source of food on a small, medium and large scale, and this will always depend on committed farmers, but also on the resources available for that purpose.
Greetings @ lanzjoseg. At any scale sustainable agriculture is beneficial, the difficult thing is to change the culture of agrochemicals that damage the soil and eventually to human organs, after consumption, because for large companies profitability is above sustainability and environmental improvements.
Thank you very much for your comments.
Hello friend @dgalan.
A great article, I think it will always be important to be able to implement organic fertilizers in food production because in this way we achieve in addition to generating food, we also manage to safeguard our so precious environment.
Thanks for sharing such educational and interesting content with all of us. Best regards.
Greetings @ rbalzan79. Every day organic fertilizers are gaining ground in the minds of producers and it is so necessary to improve our soils and contribute to the environment. The war is against the multinational companies because the important thing is the profitability not the environmental.
Thank you very much for your comments
It is a great efficiency and sustainability that we can find in the use of organic fertilizers in our agricultural crops, which is why I believe that farmers need to be educated in their use.
Greetings and thank you for your valuable contribution.
Greetings carlos84. Farmers and producers should be educated in the efficient use of these organic fertilizers, which are better in yield, production and do not damage the soil like agrochemicals.
Thank you very much for your comments
i have been looking at farming as a business to embark on, this post has been of help. Thanks
Greetings @ stealthog. Farming on any scale, small, medium or large is very rewarding, having the technical knowledge and inputs at hand, in my country Venezuela we are going through difficult situations that make this activity very complicated. Farmers are in search of alternatives to be able to produce and be profitable, and one of them is the use of biofertilizers to improve crop productivity and not damage the soil for future generations.
It goes without saying that I have several colleagues who are experts in the area and we are at your disposal for advice.
Thank you very much for your comments
Wow. I appreciate definitely reach out to you when it's time..
Greetings, we are at your service.
Organic fertilizer is very good for the crop in our country many farmers are using the organic fertilizer and producing organics vegetables and fruits but the price is little high because it's organic but it is good for health as it does not contain any pesticides and other harmful substances.
Greetings @ Adityjancshds . How good that in your country, like mine, there are already many farmers who are using organic fertilizers, they should learn how to process them to make crops more profitable, The pandemic and economic problems have stimulated farmers to learn how to process organic fertilizers, thus lowering costs per hectare of production and have obtained good results, helping the environment and being more profitable.
