The quality of education in Latin American countries can have a greater impact on economic development than the number of years of study per student; therefore, improving the level of student learning is the greatest educational challenge facing the region, which in recent years has shown significant progress in terms of access.

To say that education is an indispensable means to enhance the development of our societies should not simply be a proposition. In fact, it is said that education is a favorable process that can nurture the growth and development of peoples, and even raise their aspirations in the competitive modern world.

Education as a whole and the education system in particular need an agreement that will outline the path it will follow in the coming decades, regardless of who holds political power. This path demands changes in its structure, and must be focused on raising the level of education in all areas, together with a harmonious and balanced development between professional training and university studies.

On the other hand, there is no doubt that education contributes to economic development. To find some key points that allow us to demarcate the value and the role it occupies among the explanatory factors of this development leads us to a review of economic history. In it we can find ourselves as a conditioning factor, capable of determining and clarifying "a part" of the historical elements that, in specific geographical environments, have distinguished the course of their economy.

Traditionally, we have heard that education constitutes a transport towards the integral formation of the human being, his training to be able to face the challenges that the world presents to him. This statement explains that education is linked to a process of cultural change that brings the subject up to date in various areas of knowledge. However, the role of education as an important catalyst for the economic development of the people must be taken into account.

hello @dgalan,
I firmly believe that with access to education people can lift themselves out of poverty and that countries can be economically great. We live in an age where the internet exists, if governments want their citizens to be free, the first thing they must achieve is access for all people to information that generates education and training for work.

Greetings @ trabajosdelsiglo I share with you your comment, education is a tool for the liberation of the human being in terms of the economic, cultural and political factor of the people. There are countries that investments in education are not an integral part of their governments because it awakens the population from the historical lethargy they have and transforms them into citizens more aware of the times we live in.

Greetings @ sholly1 . Educational development goes hand in hand with economic development, by having trained citizens and skilled labor the economy of a country will have significant positive changes for its growth.
Education also transforms the human being and his environment.
