RE: Artificial Intelligence- The Future of Human Life

in Project HOPE2 years ago

Dear @dove11

Interesting choice of topic. Subjects related to AI are one of my favourite ones :)

But humans have reached new heights by using their brains.

I would say that humans managed to exterminate most species around the world. And this process only continue.

So it's hard not to expect, that AI will do the same sometime in the future. After all, this time we (humans) are going to be thousands times less intelligent.

because these machines can follow only as many instructions as we feed them. These machines can neither make any decisions on their own nor you can call them intelligent.

I would discuss that humans are not very different. We're all programmed one way or another. And our decisions are result of such a programming. And to certain degree, AI also can make decisions based on received data.

Self-awareness:
Until now, scientists have not prepared any such machine. That's when such a machine will be made.

Perhaps they did not prepared any such machine yet. However, perhaps we're just not aware of that. Public outrage could be a huge thing, making AI researchers not really eager to share results of their work with public.
I would not be surprissed if AI with coded self-awareness (to some ceratin degree) would already exist.

Solid read. Upvote on the way.
Cheers, Piotr

Thanks for such a nice analysis and feedback and support. I am interested in AI and machine learning so will keep posting on this topic. I guess whether we like it or not, jobs cut or whatever our concerns but researches on this topic will go on and AI will come into play in our life. I love it when I see robotic vacuum cleaner finishing its job even while the owner is not at home.
