Those statistics seem to be quite misleading. Are we indeed talking about "Amount ($)" or market cap? (two different things).

Surely I agree with you, that "this sector is growing rapidly". And probably it will contunie moving in this direction.

I must admit, that I initially couldn't understand much about DeFi and I still struggle to find (or imagine) any real-use cases. So we're kind of ... on the same page here lol.
