Scam calls of Airtel Payment bank..
Nowadays scammer are discovering different -different types of scam. In india there is bank name airtel payment bank. This one is a online bank. For opening this bank account no need for paper work or anything. Means within five minutes you can get access to the bank. Also this one run on phone. You check your balance or statement, send money to anyone.
There is problem with this bank just one otp is everything for this account.
Means if you give them just a single OTP they can steal your full amount.
So scammers are calling the customers and asking the otp. If by mistake any person giving them otp they got bank balance zero.
They never ask OTP by saying that this one is your bank account OTP. They say I am working on your card like any identity card or I have your ATM card and need to verification, for the verification you gonna receive the OTP.
In my knowledge more than 10 person got lost the money on this bank account.
This is not fault of bank account, all blames goes to account holders why they providing OTP or anything.
Like if you give our room's key to a theaf. Definitely theaf will steal so here room has no fault.
But Scammers have no souls , no humanity . A poor man earn money by doing hard work and save little little money. A scammer just in one call steal his all saving. I don't know how a person can get sleep calmly after stealing a poor man.

Such a coincidence, that there is a telecommunication company over here in Nigeria called Airtel, I thought you referred to this through your topic but reading through made me know it's a bank. Never giving out OTPs at all to strange callers is a form of serious safety.
In india Airtel is also telecommunication company and Bank too..
