In spite of her, may you always end up being well.
"Then it appears. It appears without warning, that desire to cry without knowing why.
Without being able to control it. That's how she is. So cruel, so domineering and devastating. She darkens and clouds everything, erasing all hope.
That's how $&#🤬 depressed she is."
At the moment you can't do anything but let yourself go and let the emotions flow. And once you know how to deal with it, it is easier to exercise your will and not let it destroy you.
There are recurrent depressions, which appear, go away and then return. When this is the case, we must be alert. But for those who are experiencing depression for the first time, believe me, they will not know what to do in the face of such a powerful feeling of despondency and deep sadness.
If it is difficult for me sometimes, how much more for someone who has never suffered from it!
Did I write "for me"? Yes, I wrote it. Because although some people overcome it completely, others, due to their genetics, maintain that predisposition. All we have to do is to know how to live with the enemy. It is like our Achilles heel, with which we must learn to coexist and avoid being attacked from there.
And that makes you stronger each time, you get used to overcome it, you know its effects and that inspires you not to succumb to it, because you know that if you do, you lose.
Some have known it, others see it every day and others, fortunately, will never know that hell. It's just up to us to move forward, move on and do everything we can to win the battle.
A few days ago I shared this on my social networks. It is a writing that comes from the soul, from the desire not to succumb, from the desire to do it. From wanting to move forward and from wanting to surrender. From that struggle with my thoughts and emotions. I hope it inspires you as much as it does me.
"May you always be well.
That no matter how bad you feel, always, but always, end up being okay.
Make it a habit; a habit.
Cry, be upset, fall down and feel yourself giving up, it doesn't matter.
Take a deep breath.
Then get up from wherever the hell you are and keep moving forward.".
Love, Sam
