Essentially, all undergraduate work begins with a research in order to collect the required information, which is usually issued in bibliographic material or can be provided by the personnel working within the company, interposing techniques, methods or research strategies that provide the necessary information for its optimal development.
It should be noted that research is an experimental and intellectual process, which applies a series of techniques and methods aimed at obtaining new knowledge and / or ideas, as they are acquiring results in science and technology.
The type of research alludes to the form of study to be carried out, directs the general objective of the study and the way to obtain the necessary information or data.
The type of research is determined according to the type of problem to be solved, as well as the objectives to be achieved, and something highly relevant, the availability of resources at the time of undertaking the research.
Documentary research is a process based on the search, recovery, analysis, critique and interpretation of secondary data, that is, data obtained and recorded by other researchers in documentary sources: printed, audiovisual or electronic. As in all research, the purpose of this design is the contribution of new knowledge.
