WHERE SHOULD YOU INVEST YOUR MONEY- STOCK OR REAL ESTATE INVESTMENT?

in Project HOPE4 years ago

Everywhere we are now hearing about one investment platform or another, everyone is trying to invest more than before, the pandemic has taught us that we need to be ready for any form of unforetold emergency and a lot of people are slowing down on their spending habits and are focusing their energy on making their money improve.

Just like we have read before, we have to be very careful about the places we invest as there are scammers all over the place who are ready to dupe every one of their hard earned money without thinking twice. Our topic today will be considering real estate investment and stock market, they both sound really promising I guess but there are differences between them, times have changed and so have investment patterns and methods of making profit.

Differences in the investment pattern of real estate and stock market.

In order to become a real estate investor, you must have a large amount of money, irrespective of the area owning a house is no joke and you need to have a good amount of money before you become a real estate investor but in the case of a stock investor, you can start with an amount ten times lesser than what you will use as a real estate investor.

The transaction fee of becoming a real estate owner is more than what it takes to pay a broker, there are brokers who even offer the transactions for free.

Becoming a stock investor is really risky because there is no such thing as a company that is too successful to fail, every company can fail no matter how high they have become and if the company fails, it also means that your investment has dropped in value but when it comes to real estate, it even thrives more during the period of crises because people are looking for shelter and accommodation during this period.

It is possible to make a profit of 50% or even 100% on an investment within 24 hours that is the good side of being a stock investor and it is not common with real estate, although you can also loose that same amount within 24 hours so don’t get too excited.

With real estate investment, it is possible to sleep with your eyes closed but with stock investment, you have to keep the eyes opened as this will help you make fast withdrawal whenever you have to.
Another thing about real estate investment is you might not be able to relocate to a new region, you have to stay there to watch over your investment and ensure it is yielding profitable returns but as a stock broker, you can move anywhere and everywhere whenever you want to and still have your business running well.

Both of them i think it's good but i prefer Real Estate rather than Stocks.

Appreciate your feed back.

Hello @ajewa
These points you raise are important.
Particularly, at present, I prefer online businesses.
I think that will be the trend, it's the trend.
Since it allows us to have a business and be able to serveloncassk from anywhere in the world..
And considering that one doesn't have money to invest in real estate, I think investing in the stock market is more viable.
But, like everything else, it's risky. More if you don't know about it.

Appreciate your feed back @josevas217.

If I had the financial means today I will definitely choose real estate over stock investment, to me it real estate appears more secure and rooted than stock investment.

Sincerely appreciate your feed back @ojerinde, thanks.

@ajewa first of all I like to suggest to invest according that you can take risk of both are good option but first we need to do our due diligence before any investment in the stock or real estate.

Thanks for the feedback, really appreciate.
