Having a clean environment and a well saturated work space will definitely make the mind function properly and it will be quite easy to work well and become more productive in an environment like that.
Yeah, you are right @ajewa, it happens to me too. When my environment isn't tidy, I notice that I'm less productive and when it is neat, I notice that I'm more productive
