This is due to our favourable conditions like tropical fertile soils, heavy rains, abundant sunshine that help these fruits grow to the fullest with all values and tests that take the consumer to paradise on tasting them.😊 Thus the name Pearl of Africa.

Plenty of Fruits are grown anywhere favorable and are sold at affordable prices starting from (200ugxshs) this is because they are mostly grown by Families on small and medium pieces of land.
Most of our fruits are perishable and 80% are wasted during the harvest season since there is a lot of output compared to the market size. A few of our fruits like 30% is exported since they are bulky compared to what is needed in the international market.

Well farming or Agriculture is the back bone of our country and farmers have been able to improve their standards of living through several agricultural activities and as well as creating employment opportunities for the people in the country.

Am a proud Ugandan and I congratulate Uganda upon it's 59th Birthday🇧🇪❤️
