Trust is the feeling of comfort you have towards someone that they have your best interests at heart or that they will never do anything intentionally to hurt you. Trust is expressed in various relationships like the trust children have in their parents, the trust students entrust with their teachers that they will teach them to the best of their ability, trust among friendships where you believe that they will treat well, not gossip or spill any of your beans to other people.

Trust can easily be gained first time round however it can’t easily be gained the second time after hurting someone. Some people trust easily however some take a longer while to trust. People who take long to trust normally first observe thoroughly to see if it is safe to trust. Various actions can be done that betray people’s tasks like going back on your word or promise, talking bad behind your friend’s back etc.

Acts that break peoples’ trust normally hurt them so much in that they have to take time to first forgive themselves for putting their trust in that person. Sometimes, they may blame themselves for trusting the person and not seeing the person who hurt for who they are. Truth is maybe sometimes you may act gullibly but you have to know that it is not you but it is the other person’s character that is questionable.

Therefore in such cases you have to forgive yourself and learn from your mistakes and then move on and try to use the lesson learnt to make better friendships, relationships etc.
