President Museveni Warns Kyambogo Students over Supporting Kyagulanyi
President Yoweri Museveni’ has questioned Kyambogo University management on maintaining the main motive that led to establishment of Kyambogo University as a center of acquiring skills.
Speaking at the 17th Kyambogo University graduation fire zone, president Museveni said, “Uganda is now in need of skillful citizens that will help in boosting the county’s economy through establishment of competitive innovations”.
The president also questioned graduates on practicing their acquired skills and also resist from acts that will fail them achieve their targets sighting alcohol as major factor.
The education minister also known as the wife to president Janet kataha Museveni said that there is need for higher institutions to invest more in research and skill courses.
Kyambogo University vice Chancellor Prof John Sembufu promised the president and the minister of education that Kyambogo University is a center of excellence respective of the current COVID19 pandemic.
