VISITING OUR GARDENS IN LUWERO DISTRICT

It’s my pleasure to share with you about my journey to luwero district. It was such a tiresome journey although interesting one, we started the journey at around 10 a.m. There was a lot of traffic jam at around Kawempe, there were a lot of trucks turning hence causing jam.

When we reached at Zirobwe we made a stop over to buy some things we were to use, water, sodas, and other eats. At the same point we made some orders for Rolex(is a popular food item in Uganda, combining fried eggs and veggies wrapped in a chapati) but the Rolex guy was very clean and smart with what he was doing. They we so sweet and I wish you had a taste 😂

At around 2 p.m we had reached at one of the farms we were to visit. The place looked so dry and it was more than hot. The coffee plants looked so tired since the sunshine was too much.

From there we continued to another garden and it’s where we grew the passion fruits. The only problem we faced was much dust on the road, we reached to an extent of not seeing where we were heading. Still at the passion fruits garden it was also too dry and hot. This makes the whole of luwero district dry. The good thing we were able to do some harvesting of the fruits.

Lastly at 4 p.m we had lunch at FIVE STAR RESTAURANT, this is the best restaurant in the whole of Luwero district. I had to order for goat’s meat, rice and Karro. After our lunch we traveled back home, we reached at 7:30 p.m. We thank God that we traveled safely.
