COVID 19 HAS NOT LEFT US THE SAME.

Hello!

The deadly pandemic started in 2019 in China to which many thought it was a circus joke. By the start of 2020 it had spread throughout different continents. This devil 😈 didn't come with an aim of leaving people the same.

A clear example is in my country Uganda where many shed tears for the loved ones as they were being laid to rest even at that, a loved one would die and just be informed but not allowed to bury. A number of business were locked down and due to this closure they have got financial break downs. Schools were closed for 2 years down the road, students have got early pregnancies and have dropped out of school.

It is so ironical how the locking down was to prevent people from contracting the disease but eventually it was more of a crucifixion because at that moment curfew was implemented and this restricted alot of movements and work of different categories of social workers.

Covid 19 has been a pandemic that its effects will take years to erode away, however one man's meat is another man's poison. The situation was advantageous to some government officials as they were given financial help to provide to their people but instead few of them fulfilled that and families were left to suffer... children starved to death as their parents were restricted from working. Where others were crying of poverty others were building mansions.

It was a blessing in disguise to them. The sad truth is that covid 19 has not left everyone the same....
It has affected someone either positively or negatively.

Special thanks goes to #UN and other organizations that came out to help the starving people with food and other shelters.

It hasn't left us the same indeed, especially the second wave. I lost my brother in law and i just can't even start talking about the whole thing.
But am grateful atleast the lockdown was lifted and children are back to school now.
