Celebrating my younger sister today was the best. Joyful, is what many of her friends call her but at home we call her Joy.

Joy looking "twenty-fine"🤗

Sometime this week, i spent time thinking about our childhood memories together. I would like to share some of the memories with you.

THE HUSTLE OF RIDING A BICYCLE.
We are a family of 6 and whereby 4 of us are siblings. 3 girls and 1 stubborn brother. Joy is the last born. We all grew up together in a big community with lots of areas that we could play from.
We all learnt how to ride our tricycle at the a very young stage (between 7-8 years old) and before we clocked our teens, we were able to ride the normal bicycles apart from Joy. As a child, she was timid, shy and quiet. It was hard for us to get even one word out of her mouth. Now as she grew into her teens she was more open to the world and this is when she decided to learn how to ride a bicycle. Of course she didn't learn on a tricycle, one day she grabbed my brother's bike to the top of a 5 layer terrace each of them being about 4ft . I really don't know what came over her that day. Below the terrace my friends and I were playing dodgeball and some of them were skipping. Suddenly we heard a loud scream from the top and it was Joy terribly on the bike and rambling down like an avalanche. I remember the day, my heart stopped beating for 5 seconds and i grew cold all because i was afraid. All i could hear were my friends shouting "Joy use the breaks, use the breaks". She was on the lower terrace already when she instinctively remembered the breaks. When she used only the front break that made her flip over with the bike. By the time I came back to my scenes, Joy was in the air she looked like a junior James Bond before i knew it she was on her back and the bicycle was right on her face. We all ran towards her. For a second she looked like she couldn't move at all.
Suddenly, Joy started laughing and we all enjoyed in . Lucky she had a few wounds and her face was a bit swollen. We all helped her to her feet and took her back home.
From then, she learnt how to ride and also face the world.
She is now though with university and now has a job. She is gifted with many talents like singing and she can also play most of the musical instruments.

I am proud of what she has achieved and i wish her the best years to come.
