Planting adventure at home

Hey 😊
I hope you are all doing great. We often take many things in life for granted especially the littlest and yet precious things to us. A simple thing as soil from which we survive on. Without it, we would probably be died. Soil is so important to us for it brings forth food that we depend on.

We planted Lettuce 🥬🥬🥬🥬

Sometime last week, my brother and I decided to recycle 3 plastic bottles and some abandoned rain gutters. Unfortunately I wasn't able to take pictures of the rain gutter cutting, however this is what I captured. A picture when my brother, Ray, was making holes through the plastic bottle and passing sisal rope through the holes.

Ray put soil into the half plastic bottles. He then decided to transplant some plants that were growing in the compound and put them into the plastic pot. I can't wait to see them grow.

In June, we also planted some tomatoes and tumeric in our backyard. We are hoping to see good results next week.

Our bodies are fueled by food. Without soil we can't have food.

Thank you all for taking time to read though and your support. I am absolutely grateful.
