Hello Steemians,

Meet my five months old niece, the one and only Valerie Ford.

I have met babies, nursed them, held them tight in my hands but I have never met an angel like her. Her life is filled with peace and quietness .This is how her schedule looks like.

When she wakes up in the morning, she will stay in bed and chat for a very long time. When people come around her, she will burst into laughter and show how you much excited she is to see you.
Then her mother comes in, carry and breast feed her then leave her to us as she goes about her daily chores. Valerie’s joy is knowing that people are around her and giving her the attention that she needs.

If you have ever nursed a crying baby then you will know the value of a calm one.One time I was staying with my cousin, she was helping me out with our little daughter. The baby used to cry so much so that my cousin told me ,that she will find it strange to take care of a baby who doesn’t cry, because my baby’s screaming had infiltrated her mind. Whenever, I would go visiting my parents, my sisters would be traumatized with the news that I was coming.

Anyway, that is a story for another day.

Back to baby Val, any person around home would carry her and all she would do is smile, isn’t that amazing?
She usually gets a bath a few minutes to midday , then she will sleep till 15:00hrs,wake up and play for hours.
She crowns her day with a warm bath and she sleeps again.

She left us a few days ago for up country and I am already missing her🥴.

The bible in Psalm 8:2 (NLT),says,

You have taught children and infants to tell of your strength, silencing your enemies and all who oppose you.

To me, I believe that all the time babies are conversing, they are singing praise to the lord and in that praise, the enemies are being silenced.
