MY DAY YESTERDAY ~ SWIMMING LESSONS. Dairy Game - 25 May 2021

Hi Steemians (shouldn't this be STEEMERS?!!) ,

I know you're good and busy, if not, trust the higher power. Everything works out for the good of those who trust and wait on the Lord.

Yesterday was all about my daughter. She is in her semi-final primary year (yeah, 🤔 I am growing old 😆😆😆😆😆. I have to pinch myself everyday to remind myself that time is not on my side).

Since she only had two days off from boarding school, (they didn't have holidays: too much time in the Covid Pandemic so, it's fast spent) I decided to take her for her swimming lessons.

She's always liked to swim since she was little. She also loves contemporary ballet dancing 🩰. She has had swimming lessons since 7 years old so she's a pretty good swimmer compared to me.

She is improving day by day and I am sure she will be an awesome swimmer. She can do the breast stroke, the back stroke and can submerge for up to a minute and a half!

Teaching children skills like these help them to find it easy to pick out what they want to be in life. It creates passions and helps them discover their capabilities early in life. She loves singing but she hasn't tried any sports before. I think I will try to incorporate any activity for her.

I want her to grow up knowing what she can do (having a growth mindset). She will also realized that a person doesn't only have a specific calling in life but has alot of talents to choose from.
