I am getting a bit confused with Blog - Discussion. Maybe Discussion should be called Activities? For sure, this is more of a personal opinion; I guess you might have discussed it enough ;)
The vote count differs between beta.steempeak and the 'old' steempeak. Also on older posts...

It is differeing on all my recent posts; beta.steempeak shows 3-6 votes less.
e.g.

vs.
https://beta.steempeak.com/peoplephotography/@captainklaus/posture

There also seem to be quite some delays in showing votes; on beta.steempeak in activities I can see that I received 2 upvotes on a comment 3h ago. If I look at the comment, it shows 0 votes.
Both votes might be dust votes, so maybe that's why?

Yes, I have noticed the same behavior a few times. I think dust votes are not included in the post details when using the new API to save some bandwidth.
