How-to Make (Mouth-watering) Meatballs in 30 Minutes

I used to find cooking intimidating; but the more often you do it, the easier it gets and more fun, too :)

Here’s a quick & yummy meatball recipe.


Preheat the oven, while you work, at 425 degrees. In the 10 minutes it takes to warm up, you should be ready to pop your meatballs into the oven.

Assemble your ingredients:

1 pound minced meat
2 eggs
chopped onion
grated cheese (I use Parmesan)
chopped spinach (optional)
breadcrumbs
olive oil
spices (optional)

Mix ‘em all together, by hand, like you were a kid and this was a big bucket of gooey putty.

When you’re done, start making balls by rolling them in the palm of your hand.

There are no rules as to size or shape; heck, it could all be one giant ball —- aka meatloaf!

Set balls on a baking tray, making sure they’re not touching, and pop into the oven for around 20 minutes (keep an eye on them to get the right color).

And... presto!

I won’t tell you how to boil pasta, but I’ll show you a steaming bowl of it:

Also, you could make tomato sauce from scratch (and we’ve attempted it) but, typically, we get ours from a jar.

Lastly, you might like to pair this delicious dish of comfort food with a healthy salad and a cold beer—-cheers!

This is a fabulous way to elevate an otherwise standard dish of spaghetti- I will have to give it a try! Wonder if I could use actual bread rather than breadcrumbs?
How is the beer? I'm more into the new juicy hazy ipas rather than straight IPA, but if it's not too hoppy I can be convinced otherwise!

Hey, Sun, good to hear from ya :) Yes, please, try it and let me know how it goes. We had leftovers for lunch, today, and intend to use the leftovers from our leftovers to make a meatball sub, tamarrah, tamarrah, I love you, tammarah!

Actually, my wife wanted to use bread, too, but it's too labor intensive for lazy moi; plus, breadcrumbs have blend of (Italian) spices already mixed in.

Beer is awful -- far too hoppy for my taste. Picked it for a house guest, and drank it like medicine (I hate wasting). Personally, I like fruity, flavorful stuff :)
