Travelgirl's Day 24 of Semi Lockdown in Sydney - Enjoying The Holiday Period~

Hi Everyone,

I’m still on leave this week so therefore we are pretty relaxed with a teaching schedule. I did my usual Chinese lesson and then the kids were free to roam. I wanted to start something different and I found a puzzle which I bought a few years ago in Japan. More on that later. We are expecting a few parcels this week as we did do some online shopping over the long weekend and one of them has arrived. I rarely buy online from David Jones as it tends to be pretty expensive but I was able to get a few bargains and today I received only part of my order.

It came with a nice card with my items nicely packed. Got a pair of Clarkes sandals for Baby E for $25 and a Levis skirt for myself for $25 also. We are also waiting for my other half’s items so let’s see when that will arrive. We had gift cards so we only paid like $20 for the whole lot including the items we are waiting for - bargain!

Due to the pandemic, we are craving for many types of food and one of them is Ramen. We normally have ramen once or twice a fortnight so we haven’t had any for weeks. I found some ready-made soups that should resemble ramen so I tried it today, got the tick of approval for the kids. For $3 each, they aren’t too bad if we are desperate at home.

The kids continued with Pokemon on the switch. Baby E has collected all the badges and is now going to challenge some big boss. Looks pretty challenging and he is so into it at the moment. It actually helps him read the words which are a plus playing this game.

Finally, I have started on this puzzle. As our prime minister said a few weeks ago, puzzles are essentials … so I can’t miss out right? I bought this puzzle in Japan a few years ago and never had a chance to put it together, I guess its time now. It's a map of Japan with Hello Kitty dressed up in different outfits. How long do you think it will take me to finish this off?
