Travelgirl Recommends the Best Airport Transfer in Tokyo, Japan

Hi Everyone,

If you have been to Tokyo, you will know public transportation to and from the airports in Tokyo (at both Haneda and Narita) is confusing, crowded and may be stuck at stations with no lifts. Imagine carrying your suitcase up and down lots of steps. Not fun at all! Today I want to show you how convenient the Airport Limousine can be from both Tokyo Airports to popular parts of the city and hotels.

You need to first purchase your tickets first and depending on where you want to go, some buses come more frequently more than others. In most cases, you need to book ahead of time to ensure you get a spot on your preferred time. With this journey, we are taking it from the hotel to Narita airport. I prebooked our tickets at the hotel and just make sure you are there 15 minutes before the bus comes. Note that not all hotels offer this service so just book the stop closest to your accommodation.

Our luggage is then being looked after and grouped by the hotel with the other passengers. When the bus arrives, we just need to line up to get on the bus and the attendants will help you load your bags and give you a ticket. Keep this ticket as this is used to check you have taken the correct one once you are the airport.

There is no seat assigned so just sit where you like. Remember to turn off your mobile or make it silent so you won't disturb other passengers. There is limited space overhead for your bags so either leave it on your lap or put it with the rest of your luggage. Just sit back and enjoy the ride to the airport as it will take at least 30 minutes to go to Haneda and 1 hour to Narita depending on traffic. I have used their service many times in Japan and highly recommend for those who want a carefree holiday and no need to spend a fortune.
