Celebrating Chinese New Year with Travelgirl

Hi Everyone,

This long weekend have been pretty busy at the Travelgirl's household. Chinese New Year lands on the same weekend as the Australia Day long weekend meaning that I get an extra-long weekend as I got a bonus day off from work. A 4-day long weekend is great but at the same time, it was super busy with family gatherings and trying to work out a few things logistically of the new virus going around.

First thing first, the family received lots of red pockets this year. This year Baby E knows what is happening about receiving red pockets as it contains money so we decided to give the boys $10 each to spend on something they like and the rest we will keep on their behalf. Love the variety of red pockets received.

Then we had two big dinners, one with my family and the other with the inlaws. Just say we have been overloaded with food. Shame the weather in Sydney have been humid or else we would have eaten more this year.

Due to the new virus that has spread over to Sydney, I have since then try to find hand sanitizers and face masks and they have been all sold out! I have around 20 face masks at home and have ordered some from Ebay and Amazon for backups. They are mainly used on public transport to and from work. Hand sanitizers I have 2 bottles from before so we are good for a few weeks at least. I hope there will be more stock for hand sanitizers or else I have to buy them online which will take a few weeks to arrive.

I hope everyone remembers to wash your hands frequently, wear a mask to protect yourself and others around you. Take care everyone!

大家好，今年的春節剛剛在我們澳洲日同一個週末所以我有一個4天的假期. 但不幸剛剛碰到有肺炎，全球關注，大家都在找消毒藥水，口罩買但現在市面上嚴重缺貨. 家裡有20個口罩應該可以足夠用幾天.

今年我們都特意不去多人的地方吃新年飯，都是在家裡或小區吃就好. 最重要大家可以坐在一起吃飯，聚會就好了。

我們家的小朋友收到很多利是，今年 BB E 都知道利是裏的錢要給媽咪但都有問可不可以買東西所以就有計劃給他們兩 $10 來買玩具，讓他們自己選，剩下來的就放在我這邊幫他們保管.

希望大家注意健康，戴口罩，多洗手就可以保護自己和周圍身邊的家人朋友。
