Happy Moon Monday! What the hezmana is that, you say? Well since June of last year, I've been sharing some of my moon pictures and it's always on Mondays! After seeing the weather report over the past week, I didn't think I'd have a chance, but the clouds parted Friday for a short time and I was able to snag some shots of the January 10th Full Wolf Moon!

There was also a lunar eclipse, but it wasn't visible in my corner of the world. I did manage to get a few shots last year though, and used one of my captures for this infographic I put together for my latest Tarot Tuesday -

I actually managed to get outside three different times on the night it was full, and once the following night. Since I ended up with close to 200 photos total (with a handful of short videos I might end up turning into gifs), I figure I'll just share some of the first group of shots, and save the rest for future Moon Mondays. This set is from about the first twenty minutes I was outside on the 10th, while La Luna played hide and seek in the clouds. These are the two dozen best captures out of the initial 60 shots, in the order I took them.

Also for the record, the only editing I did to these was reducing the size of each photo by twenty percent - the differences in color and such is the result of changing the exposure, and/or zooming in and out, not from any filters. As always, these were taken with my Nikon (which has a wicked amazeballs built in zoom lens) which was affixed to my tripod, in my Durham NH yard.
