Travel to the Bay of Bengal: Day Three at Cox's Bazar

in OCD5 years ago (edited)

It was already dusk we get off the ship! Had some evening snacks to start the journey to the world longest Sea beach.

Cox's Bazar is the world longest (155km) unbroken sandy beach. The slope is just awesome for the tourist people to enjoy their holidays. The weavy water touches the golden snad beach accross the whole beach area and making white foam.

The Main Beach:

It was around 11pm we reached our hotel at Cox's Bazar, the area crowded like it is only evening just started! After a short 15/20 minutes break we rush to the restaurant for dinner and then straight to the beach.

We walk in the beach till 2am and still there was many people walking and laying in the umbrella shades like the day time.

It is just 10 minutes walking from beach to our hotel and you'd find vehicles as well but I prefer walking as there are different kinds of shops both side of the road and I guess they keep those open more or leas whole night.

It is just perfect to lay down for couple of hours - early in the morning or reading books as you'd get most amazing views and gentle breezes

We slept till 6am and off to the beach once again to watch the beautiful morning beach. It was quite beautiful early in the morning and there are very few people in the beach so we walked in the beach, made small tower, played like kids and get back to hotel for breakfast while we found people just started to come to the beach.

Cox's Bazar- World's Longest Sandy Beach

We had our breakfast and then again came to the beach Sal Tree area for amazing photo shoots, there are several professional people who got DSLR and would captur picture each BDT 2-5 only. After enjoying our time there we went to the beach market to buy different things.

It were in the beach till we felt we were hungry! It was almost 12pm we headed to restaurant for our lunch and we have to start our journey to the amazing Himchori then the beautiful Inani Beach by the beautiful "Marine Drive".

Himchori Hill Tracts and National Park:

This is just 10km away from the main beach so we started our journey just after our lunch.

One side green hillside and another side as far as you see- just water

You have to have enough energy to go up to the Himchori Hill Tracts, although there is stairs to climb up but it got hundreds steps way up (not recommended for weak health). You'd find the amazing view of the Bay of Bengal from up there. It is reall awesome to find the hillside and Water from there. There is a little waterfall at the bottom of the hill but to watch this you've to be there during rainy season.

Cox's Bazar is not recommended during rainy season due to the high tide and you'll not able to watch the sandy beach.

Palash- you'd find this beautiful flowers on the top if you visit during January/February

You could try Shutki Vorta (Smashed Dry Fishes) in the restaurant just opposite of the hills and could try breakfast besides entrance if you start there in the morning! I believe you'd remember both of them for a long time, delicious!

Actually we hire couple of Easy Bike to "Inani Beach" , Himchori we found on the halfway. Couple of hours at Himchori was not enough. It would be great if we could start early in the morning from the main beach then we could stop several beautiful area (Nature Beauty) on the way to Inani.

Inani Beach:

If you like to watch the Red Crabs, beautiful Sunset, Rocky and Sand beach side by side and of course the riding the Quad Bike this beach just perfect (Please take the rider with you, if you aren't a professional, it could find yourself upside-down the bike)!

It is Just awesome to riding a Quad Bike

Another 20 kilometersto to reach Inani from Himchori and it was only about an hour to Sunset we reached the beach. We found huge sizes of fresh Coconut in the beach and enjoyed them before hit the beach. Enjoined a lot by riding Quad Bike! Unfortunately we've missed the Red Crabs as we reached that place by the bike while it was dusk already.

We started our returning journey after Sunset and reached hotel at 9pm. After having the dinner again we headed to the beach at stayed till midnight. We returned early as next day we had a plan to visit the beautiful Maheshkhali Island.

To be continued....

Thanks for your time and being with me!
