Many, who are clueless, demonize America for doing what had to be done to stop an out of control Japan.
How many more Darwins and Pearl Harbours would there have been, had We Not went forward with "The Manhatten Project???"

Nanjing Massacre
The Nanjing Massacre or the Rape of Nanjing, alternately written as the Nanking Massacre or the Rape of Nanking, was an episode of mass murder and mass rape committed by Imperial Japanese troops against the residents of Nanjing (Nanking), then the capital of China, during the Second Sino-Japanese War.
The massacre occurred over a period of six weeks starting on December 13, 1937, the day that the Japanese captured Nanjing. During this period, soldiers of the Imperial Japanese Army murdered Chinese civilians and disarmed combatants who numbered an estimated 40,000 to over 300,000, and perpetrated widespread rape and looting.Since most Japanese military records on the killings were kept secret or destroyed shortly after the surrender of Japan in 1945, historians have been unable to accurately estimate the death toll of the massacre. The International Military Tribunal for the Far East in Tokyo estimated in 1946 that over 200,000 Chinese were killed in the incident.
Many do not understand how out of control Japan was.
Little Boy & Fat Man were a necessary evil. And people like us that know history, understand that America should never be proud of it, but instead be respected for doing what many still question as having to be done.

It was a different world than the one in which we live today; Things were done differently and with the Japanese holing to the way of the Samurai still...Well, it was never going to end well I think. I find it really interesting...Also interesting in that most Japanese people nowadays don't have much concept of what went on. (My sister in law is full Japanese and confirms that.)
Do we need any more proof than that Media lies and propaganda is effective? From search result manipulation right up to the Big News Media Lies, Ommisions, and Censorship.
It changes people. And not for the better. My Aunt Susan, whom I love dearly, is a mind washed victim of this horrible news media. She quotes the Liar Bimbos on that Horrible Television show The View SMFH
So many others do too mate, it's a plague. Those TV shows are irresponsible in my opinion.
