Go camping with Flex… an adventure

I have decided, I have hesitated, I have reconsidered, I have canceled, I have reconsidered ... well ok I'm going ... I'm going camping with my Flex cat! This is one of the challenges that I set myself in mind: But what do I want to do?

Flex is a young cat shaped like a few me, he has the soul of an alley cat and always wants to see beyond the borders that I impose on him. One of the advantages is that he is already used to wearing a harness. The disadvantage is that it is a cat ... hehe ... Territorial, routine, hates change.

The first few days were rather difficult on the sleep side… for me! Flex hunting all night and sleeping by day. It was impossible to keep him quiet in the tent during the night, so I left it ajar at the bottom of the side where his food and his litter were ... But obviously wrapping the leash around the surrounding objects, strange noise that worried me (It may be a feline, it is a house) I only slept with one eye. Usually at 2:00 am he came in and snuggled in his cuddly toy ... phew ......

He quickly adopted the site and began to explore, eat, sleep ... etc. The cat quickly returns to nature and is stimulated by the sounds of the forest, insects and birds. This is the dolce vita for Flex and I think he would like to stay here 😉

Our experience, despite the difficulties, was enriching for both. Spending a more intense moment with your pet strengthens the bonds with it and makes us realize its importance. I know my kitty is at the golden age of his life, I don't know how long he will be by my side and I am happy to have made us live an adventure.
