[PW#11] Making Decisions and Hard Work For Better Life

Basically, everyone wants a better and more useful life than yesterday. Sometimes past life is full of stories of bitterness, sweetness and how bitter the twists and turns of one's life. If faced with a choice between bitter and sweet, it is predictable that someone will definitely choose sweet as their first choice. it's a natural thing because everyone wants the story of his life to be straight, good, sweet and useful for others.

But the way of life of a person cannot be known and is never the same, all is still hidden and this is not our authority to determine it, let this be God's power to determine. Suffice it to us with the life we ​​feel today as a fruit and the result of what we did yesterday and your decision today will have an impact on your life story tomorrow. So, make the wisest decision for you and for those around you and work hard to get the best.

Making decision

Taking a decision must be wise, however you must also be aware, making decisions as a choice so all of that must be learned from various points of view, both from strength and risk. Every decision taken will always be accompanied by a risk, but whatever the risk is, it will only be a test if faced with courage and full effort.

But sometimes in making decisions and determining what efforts you must take, there will be many questions that arise in your mind, sometimes we ask about our own existence. Too often we wonder about who am I? Why am I there? What am I for? Am I useful to others? So often the question arises and we are often confused by what answers we have to give.

Actually, these questions are a reflection and are a measuring tool so that we continue to try to find our identity as good and dignified human beings. It also means that we are still aware of our existence in the middle of life. We are still aware of our existence, that means we are also aware of the lives of others.

Work hard

Hard work ? so meaningfully a saying "success is 1% genius and 99% is hard work" (Thomas Alva Edison). This sentence is indeed short but if elaborated you will find thousands of pages to write. True, if the genius is unusual, it rarely happens and only becomes a small part of a community. Unlike the case with hard work, everyone must do it, including geniuses. From day to day, every second and minute that we live never escape from the word hard work.

Hard work is an attitude that must be lived by everyone, no matter how many failures, threats and opportunities that must be accompanied by hard work because the happiness of life also depends on how we work hard in exploiting and using opportunities and avoid life threats. Whatever opportunity it is and whatever threat it is, it will come at any time, trying to influence every step and decision we must take and its implications for the future.

For this reason, we hope that we will be able to become human beings who work hard and are smart in taking advantage of opportunities and are skilled at understanding threats. Whatever opportunities we take, or threats that come to us, at least become a process in the journey, struggle, and the colours of our lives and hard work will always go along with it. The struggle for life requires commitment and hard work, without these two things it can be said that a person has no struggle over his life.

Through this reflection, let us always ask questions, introspect and continue to evaluate the history of our lives in the past and where we want to go in the direction of our lives today. It can help us to find our identity, we can see the potential of ourselves and the awesome power that God reveals in our lives. There is no life in vain for people who always live in hope.
