My process to make this drawing (Comics style drawing).

How about friends, I hope you are well in these difficult times we are going through as human beings. This is a drawing that I did in quarantine with an abstract and somewhat cartoonish touch, which shows two Asian people with face masks and around them you can see an urban environment with buildings and factories as well as smoke clouds that are generated by them.

This drawing refers to the different situations or circumstances that we face as humanity today such as environmental pollution and the terrible world pandemic (coronavirus, covid-19).

Drawing process

Step 1.

In this first step, make a sketch where you draw with simple lines two Asian people with face masks or mouth covers.

Step 2.

In this step just draw the buildings with a very basic and simple shape that the necks can be seen behind the two people, in the same way draw the smoke that comes out of the factories and the smoke clouds that are in front.

Step 3.

In this third step I began to shade the drawings of the two people to give them more depth and style. Similarly shade the smoke clouds. Also highlight some details by highlighting them a bit to give some lines more texture.

Step 4.

In this last step, put shadows on buildings and factories to enhance them. I also gave more darkness to the shadows of people and smoke clouds so that the drawing has greater depth and visual impact. Also put a Chinese word that means (strength) to give it the last touch.

Step 5.

finally in this last step edit the image of the drawing with the help of Photoshop adding shadows, contrast and brightness to give it the style of the comics.
