The title of this blog says it all actually, so many things have happened over a week of time that I don't even know where to start (and actually I kind of feel a bit confused it I am super honest!). So I guess this blog today will be more of a spill the thoughts kind of way more than anything else. Here we go!

Communities

All of a sudden it was there. The communities of Steem! Not able to be seen over the busy.org interface for instance, but when going to the oldschool Steemit.com the frontpage looks different. Shortcuts are there to all kinds of communities. And now what? I joined two of the most important communities that I know #OCD (because I like the curation game they have going on) and #BEER because you know....beer..and the community around beer is just lovely actually. So now the experiment today will be one for me for the first time.

From what I have understood from scrolling through you can post in a community separately without having this coming to your normaal feed. If you do want this on your normal feed you can resteem it so it ends up in there as well. (Correct me if I am wrong here peepz!) I like the fact that not everything ends up in a general feed. This might also take out a lot of alt accounts that we all have which specifically are used for certain stuff. Say if this works, I can put my actifit posts back on my karinxxl account instead of my karinpics account because lets face it, everyone hates actifit posts.

The downside: You (or atleast I) will not end up scrolling through all kinds communities for content which I like. On the other hand...if you end up in a good community, who needs more?

And all of a sudden Steemit paired up with Tron leaving a lot of users in a very unhappy kind of way. Yeah, more unhappy than what I would have had expected actually. because this is only good news right? Some one in the picture who already has big attention on him. Someone who has abilities to do more. But as always....the communication. Hopefully this is the steem exit of digital Ned who really gives me a rich kid 'I can do what I want' kind of feeling. But what was weird...for the developers this all looked like kind of a surprise...Or is this just my misunderstanding?I am very curious how this all will play out, but I am siked for this partnership to say for the least. Exposure is always good, in whatever kind of way!

And just a second ago I saw this popping by. Sharing content from page to page, from community to community. From facebook to Reddit to Steem to youtube or whatever. What might seem fantastic in a way of exposition might also be the ultimate door opening to spam the platform to its eternal demist. I really hope this is not the case because the initial thought of this is really good!

So developments all over in one week, and all of them are super big ones! The impact of them in the end? That is what we dont know and we will find out sooner than later I guess. But never a dull week Steemside I would say!
