Hola a toda la comunidad, en esta oprtunidad llega a la consulta un paciente masculino de 42 años presentando caries oclusal del 38 ( tercer molar inferior izquierdo), por ser el último molar es muy común que aparezca caries, por el difícil acceso al cepillado y por lo general son extraidas, pero en este caso el paciente presenta caries de surcos, que se elimina para evitar su avanze y se reconstruye de manera que quede anatómicamente armónica y sana.

Hello to all the community, in this opportunity arrives to the consultation a 42 years old male patient, presenting occlusal caries of the 38 (third inferior left molar), for being the last molar it is very common that it appears, caries by the difficult access to the brushing and generally they are extracted, but in this case the patient presents caries of grooves, it is eliminated to avoid its advance and it is reconstructed so that it is anatomically harmonic and healthy.

Se realiza el tallado de una cavidad clase I, que abarca una superficie, en este caso la cara oclusal, eliminando todo el tejido carioso dandole un poco de profundidad y retención para que el material se adose a las paredes, así evitar futuras filtraciones y fracturas.

A class 1 cavity is carved, which covers a surface, in this case the occlusal face, eliminating all the carious tissue giving it some depth and retention so that the material adheres to the walls to avoid future leaks and fractures.

Se desmineraliza con ácido fosfórico al 32% en forma de gel, se deja aproximadamente 10 seg se lava con agua, se aisla con algodon, continuamos con el adhesivo para luego fotopolimerizar por 10 seg, y acotinuación se coloca la resina del color del diente, en este caso se escogío A3 de la casa Ivoclear.

It is demineralised with 32% phosphoric acid in the form of a gel, it is left for approximately 10 seconds, it is washed with water and isolated with cotton, we continue with the adhesive and then it is light cured for 10 seconds, and then the tooth-coloured resin is placed, in this case A3 from Ivoclear was chosen.

La resina se coloca por capas y se va fotopolimerizando cada capa por 20 seg, hasta tallar las cuspides y surcos devolviendole la anatomía perdida en la elinación de caries.

The resin is placed in layers and each layer is photopolimerized for 20 seconds, until the cusps and grooves are carved, giving back the anatomy lost in the elination of cavities.
